Owners Comments - Our family moved into the house when it was first built in 1959. I grew up there, and went to Cranbourne school. The neighbour who lived next door at the time was the bricklayer who actually built the house. Everyone knew everyone then. And actually it’s still a bit like that. The neighbours give you space. But it’s a very friendly supportive community.
The house saw me grow up, be a teenager, go to university, get married, and have my own life. It saw my mum and dad from being a young couple in their twenties, through until their nineties. The house saw laughter, fun, parties, lots of music. It’s been a happy place, and a happy part of our lives. Obviously the schools are great, Windsor is great. Windsor Park is fantastic. London is half an hour away. The trains and busses are good. The hospital is close. There are several well stocked convenience stores within a few minutes walk. One great advantage is you can always have a nice walk, without getting into the car. Ascot Raceourse, Rhododendron walk, Sandy lane. Literally five or six minutes walk from the house, and you’re in fields.
I moved to California usa in 2010, and mum and dad decided to spend their final years with me in California. So it’s really time we passed this fantastic place onto another family. Be assured that this house is full of wonderful memories and the very, very best vibes. We wish you well.
