The Corner is a delightful property nestled in the rolling countryside, just outside the coastal village of Amroth. Enjoying wonderful privacy on a no-through road, this five-bedroom home is within walking distance of the beach. In addition to the main residence, the property also boasts a self-contained two-bedroom cottage, currently run as a successful holiday let. Surrounding both properties are beautiful gardens that have been meticulously crafted by the current owner. While the property enjoys all the peace and privacy that this rural position offers, it is moments from the a-road network, providing excellent access to amenities both within and outside Pembrokeshire. For those looking for a property that offers a wonderful rural lifestyle, combined with the income potential that the cottage provides, The Corner is a fantastic opportunity.

Entering the main home through the enclosed porch, you arrive in the part of the property that was originally a stone farm cottage. This space now provides a welcoming dining area, with a wood-burning stove set into the stone end wall. The room houses the first of two staircases to the first floor and opens into the kitchen on the right-hand side. The kitchen is a great space for keen cooks and features an oil-fired Aga at the far end. Beyond the kitchen, you enter an inner hallway housing a handy utility room, with the ground-floor bathroom located opposite. Further along the hallway, you find the home’s second staircase to the first-floor landing. This hall also provides access to the integral garage and opens into the main sitting room. The sitting room is a lovely space in which to entertain or relax and features glazed double doors on the far wall that open into the conservatory. The conservatory offers a wonderful space enjoying lovely views over the gardens. This sunny reception room also benefits from a fireplace on the inner wall and has doors opening directly onto the garden.

The first floor of the home features a central landing, accessed via the two staircases from the ground floor. Opening off this landing are five bedrooms, comprising three doubles and two good-sized singles, along with a family bathroom. The bedroom layout is ideal for guests, with the configuration of the home effectively creating two separate wings of accommodation. One of the single bedrooms is currently arranged as a home office and enjoys views of the surrounding countryside.

The Longhouse has undergone a superb renovation, transforming a stone outbuilding into a well-equipped and welcoming residence. The property complies with all current letting industry standards and provides a wonderful holiday home for visitors. The accommodation comprises a large open-plan reception space with a generous kitchen that is open to the beams in the roof above. A corridor leads to two good-sized bedrooms (one currently serving as a library/sitting room), a bathroom, and a handy utility room. The Longhouse benefits from its own private, beautifully maintained garden and parking for two vehicles on its own driveway. While the property would provide a good income stream for a buyer it would also work perfectly for a multi-generational family who were looking for two properties that enjoyed their own privacy.

Externally, the main home enjoys a driveway with parking for two cars, leading to an integral garage. The gardens are beautiful and have been carefully designed to provide numerous areas for enjoyment. Thoughtful planting has created varied and thriving flowerbeds that are filled with colour throughout the year. To the rear of the garden is a productive vegetable patch and orchard, which would provide hours of enjoyment, along with fresh produce, for any purchaser. As delightful as the gardens are, it is easy to imagine the call of the sea luring you for a walk down the quiet lane to the nearby coast.

For those looking for a home that embraces its rural location while still maintaining excellent access to amenities, The Corner is a wonderful prospect. The addition of the superb self-contained cottage and the captivating gardens makes this coastal gem a must-view property.
