You’re also close to all things New Cross - including the contemporary art gallery: Goldsmiths cca. Telegraph Hill Conservation Area's Victorian parks are pretty and serve up great views and a cute Saturday Farmers’ Market.

Other local town centres include Camberwell, Bermondsey, Nunhead, East Dulwich and Deptford.
