Description

Driveway
Approaching the property from the main village road, you turn onto a private driveway. The house is elegantly set back from the village lane, ensuring privacy and tranquillity.

Entrance
Upon entering through a half-glazed oak stable door, you step into the reception porch hallway, which can also serve as a cosy snug. The space boasts travertine stone tiled floors, exposed stone walls and pillars and views of the front garden. The travertine floor tiles transition into the spacious open- plan kitchen and dining area, creating a seamless flow.

Kitchen Dining Room
The open plan kitchen dining room features bespoke pale- yellow painted kitchen cabinets, which contrast beautifully with black granite quartz worktops, while original oak beams and rafters enhance the character of the room.

Within the kitchen, there is ample room for appliances such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, an American- style fridge and an integrated dishwasher. A charming Belfast sink with ceramic-handled kitchen mixer tap adds sophistication. The oil-fired boiler is neatly housed here. Tiled splashback frames a beautifully restored oil-fired aga, serving as both a cooking appliance and a provider of hot water, while also heating towel warmers in the main bathroom and ensuite. An original Victorian kitchen solid fuel cooking range/fire serves as a captivating centrepiece. There is also a dining area which provides ample space for a large dining room table and chairs.

Living Room
Transitioning from the kitchen dining room, you enter the expansive living room, illuminated by dual aspect windows that flood the space with natural light. Oak engineered flooring adds warmth and elegance. A multifuel log burner, nestled within a recessed oak beam mantle atop a tiled hearth, provides visual appeal and cosy warmth.

Office
Adjacent to the living room, there is a separate entrance leading to a versatile office space, which could double as an occasional bedroom. This area features oak flooring and opens to the rear garden through oak framed French doors. A rear hallway beckons with its tiled floor, an additional oak doorway providing access to the exterior and a cloakroom housing a convenient downstairs WC.

First Floor
The stairs from the living room reveal a spacious landing with exposed feature beams and rafters, offering views of the courtyard and driveway through a window. An airing cupboard, featuring handmade pine doors, houses the hot water tank and shower pump.

Master Suite
The master bedroom boasts bespoke fitted cupboards and benefits from dual aspects, with a large window offering views of the front garden. The en-suite shower room features a tiled floor with electric underfloor heating, a white back-to-wall WC with a concealed cistern and a white vanity washbasin with a storage unit below, complemented by a sleek chrome single lever mixer tap. Additionally, it boasts a spacious shower enclosure equipped with a mixer shower, including a handheld attachment and a rain showerhead feature, accompanied by a chrome towel warmer.

Bedrooms Two and Three
On the right side of the landing, shallow steps ascend to reveal a second spacious double bedroom, with a window offering serene views of the surroundings. Continuing on the right-hand side, you will find a third bedroom with an additional office or dressing room. Both rooms offer views of the driveway and courtyard area through their windows, with low-level Velux windows providing views of the rear garden and open countryside.

Family Bathroom
The family bathroom boasts a tiled floor with electric underfloor heating, a white clawfoot freestanding bath with a shower overhead, a white close-coupled WC and a white pedestal washbasin with a chrome mixer tap.

Gardens
Approaching the property up the driveway, a gravelled parking space leads to a generously sized gravelled driveway with parking for multiple cars. Amenities include a log store, a large garden shed and an oil tank, along with a raised sleeper bed herb garden. Ascending, a low stone retaining wall reveals a further raised gravel area with a covered gazebo, perfect for alfresco dining. A brick-built outbuilding could be utilised as an external office, with another brick outbuilding providing additional storage.

Following the gravelled driveway to the rear garden, surrounded by mature hedging and planting, with panoramic views of the open fields. Completing the outdoor amenities are a raised summer house and an area currently used for chickens.
