The nearest town Sturminster Newton is about 2 miles to the west and provides for day to day needs while in addition Blandford, Shaftesbury, Gillingham and Sherborne provide a further variety of shopping, educational, recreational and cultural facilities.

There are mainline railway stations at Sherborne and Gillingham with a direct service to London Waterloo and the A303 is located to the north at Wincanton providing a route towards London and the Home Counties.

Directions

From Sturminster Newton head towards Shaftesbury on the B3091 and in Manston turn towards Child Okeford. Continue along this road and take the right turn signposted Hammoon. Go over the River Stour, pass the Church on the right and continue straight on where Little Glebe will be found after a short distance on the right hand side.

Outside

The property is approached from the lane on to a gravel drive where there is parking for several cars. The large and level gardens lie to the front and side and back of the house and are mainly laid to lawn with some hedging and adjoin open fields with pleasant views over the surrounding countryside.
