Kings Heanton is an exceptionally popular rural hamlet just 3 miles north of Barnstaple the ancient borough, and administrative centre for North Devon which provides both business and leisure facilities including a range of out of town stores, the recently opened sport Centre, tennis courts and access onto the Tarka Trail a largely traffic free walkway and cycle path running around the Rivers Taw and Torridge estuaries.
