In the main saloon, a generous central skylight allows light to pour in. The contemporary open-plan living area boasts a totally original design and styling using Scandinavian influences to create an industrial feel. It features attractive full height storage and shelving units, diesel fuel stove and there’s plenty of room to add your own handpicked freestanding furniture.

There’s a high-spec L-shape fitted kitchen with generous storage with soft-close doors, granite
worktops and herring bone tiled wall. There’s plenty of integrated appliances including fridge,
freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/Dryer, twin oven, 4-burner gas hob, microwave and wine
cooler.

The luxurious master bedroom sits at the front of the boat in the spacious bow area and boasts a
wonderful 76cm-wide window to allow plenty of light and air. At the heart of the room is a generous king-size bed and corner-mounted TV. Access to the dressing area is via a stable style design door which then leads on to the spacious bathroom.

A full-size bath and a separate shower with designer taps and fittings provide an exquisite look. There’s also storage space for towels/linen, under-floor heating and a contemporary black heated towel rail.

The cosy second bedroom provides space for a queen-size bed, single wardrobe and a desk space with drawers.

The boat measures 70ft (21.3m) long by 12ft 3” (3.75m) wide. With a wheel steering, 60
horsepower engine and bow thrusters, it is built to cruise and to enjoy for static living
accommodation.

Built in 2021, the houseboat has been very carefully maintained by its present
owners and comes with a fully-transferable mooring at d’Oyly Carte Island.

d’Oyly Carte Island lies close to Weybridge and Shepperton on the River Thames in Surrey. The 1.9
acre island is steeped in history having been bought by Richard D'Oyly Carte, hence the name, in
1890. He was a former Gilbert and Sullivan opera producer and the hotelier behind The Savoy Hotel
in London's West End.
For many years, the Island has been a popular place to moor for leisure and residential craft. Recent
investment by new owners, who are also carefully restoring the private Grade II listed house which
occupies the western end, now provides the most perfect place to moor.

Within a 15-minute walk, you’ll find the buzzing High Street in Weybridge and a host of independent
coffee shops, acclaimed restaurants, as well as a varied and good quality shopping offer. Access into
London is also convenient with frequent train services to London Waterloo in under 40 minutes.
With just 30 moorings provided around the whole Island, the site has a wonderful feeling of
exclusivity compared to the larger capacity marinas in the vicinity. Moorings are provided with
water and electricity next to each berth. Access to the Island is via a security gate and a footbridge
from the Weybridge (south side) of the River Thames. Opposite the moorings, the tree-lined
towpath forms part of the Thames Path - a walking and cycling route stretching over 180 miles from
the Cotswolds to the sea.
