An exceptional semi-detached house situated on the outskirts of the desirable town of Lechlade. This property has been beautifully extended to create a stunning home and includes bespoke oak double-glazed windows throughout
Entering the hall there is a large understairs coat cupboard. To the left the bespoke, hand-built, kitchen/ breakfast room which has an array of Shaker-style floor and wall-mounted units under a stone worktop. An integrated dishwasher, Rangemaster cooker, and features such as a Belfast sink and original butcher's block, finish this room beautifully. From the kitchen is a utility room which features an airing cupboard with integral radiator and cloakroom with stable door out to part of the garden. On the other side of the hall sits a dining room with log burning stove and wooden floorboards leading through to the extension where the living room can be found. This is a wonderfully bright room being triple aspect with a large floor-to-ceiling window and French doors out to the garden and the limestone flooring is enhanced with underfloor heating.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms, the smaller of which has an en suite shower room and fitted wardrobes. There is access to loft via this room which is fully boarded and insulated with light and power. From the master bedroom, there is the most breath-taking bathroom with sensational views over open countryside. This room is triple aspect and has vaulted ceilings, a freestanding bath with a separate shower cubicle, double vanity stations, underfloor heating and travertine flooring - it really has the 'wow' factor.
Outside, to the front, there is off-road parking for four vehicles and a walled front garden laid to lawn. To the rear, the gardens have been split in two, separated by a gated arch. One part is incredibly private surrounded by large mature hedges and shrubs with a large patio area. The second part is lawned and there is a good-sized shed which has power and lights. Outside taps have been added to front and rear of the house and there is garden lighting on the patio areas.

A beautiful small town adjoining the River Thames and on the borders of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, Lechlade has a population of just over 3,000. There are several independent shops, a small supermarket, a church, doctors’ surgery, excellent primary school and a library. There is a healthy tourist trade, particularly in the summer, when the Thames is busy with cruisers, narrow boats and small boats. There is good fishing in the local rivers and lakes, country walks in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, and various nature reserves in the area. The town is a good staging-post for visitors to the Cotswolds and the historic towns of Oxford and Cirencester.
