When I walked up the driveway and in through the back gate, I was quite taken aback by the hidden cottage style garden before me – beautifully private and an abundance of Autumnal colour.

This was obviously a later extension, but it works well, giving an expanse of units, an integrated oven and hob and space for all your white goods. The house felt lovely and cool in the sunshine, and I can imagine it being extremely cosy in the colder months. The interior doors here are lovely; stripped natural wood and look so typical of this era.

There is a small patch of land to the East, beyond the garden wall which is also owned by the property - there is a sub-station on it, but it could be extended onto or the garden extended subject to the relevant consents.

In all, this is a super property which I fell in love with. It oozes charm and character and its position in the village is just perfect. It has a lovely feel when you walk in and evidently has been a loving family home for many decades. There is scope to improve upstairs and put your stamp on the property if you wish to, and of course the outbuildings and garage could be a nice little project.
