We have lived in South East London for over 30 years but Brockley is very special. We love living in the house and surrounding area. Situated in the Brockley conservation area, very close to Hilly Fields park and built on the site of a coach house it is a unique modern build which retains its origins with the past while providing a light and spacious living area for us.

The panoramic windows and outdoor, sunny balcony give us a tree covered view of the surrounding area and our sunny garden. We have carefully and informally planted the garden and we really like that we can find somewhere private to sit in it.

Our house is in a quiet, relaxed neighbourhood which has a strong sense of community and holds several events throughout the year. Within easy reach are the Brockley shopping area which has in recent years become a wonderful place to sit outside for a coffee, and award winning Brockley Market which sells excellent organic food from small suppliers.

It is only ten minutes, by train, to London Bridge or the green spaces of Greenwich park and Blackheath. With the Docklands railway, London Overground and Main line stations only ten minutes walk away our transport links are excellent whether for relaxation, shopping or work.

It has been a long journey, through the build stage to moving in six years ago and we will be extremely sad to leave but hope that someone else will enjoy the indoor and outdoor space as much as we have.<br /><br />
