Application number 58980 was initially approved in 2015 for the erection of a new dwelling.
A further application, ref 59776, was granted on the 14th September 2015 which was an application for a non-material amendment to planning permission 58980, in respect of amended design for new dwelling. This approval gave consent for the construction of a new state of the art residence designed by Oakwrights, which provided a gross internal floor area extending to approximately 576sqm / 6200sqft with the accommodation set over 2 floors and 5 en-suite bedrooms. The plans also provided for a quadruple garage with adjoining workshop/store and the possibility for an infinitely pool. This planning consent was never implemented and has therefore expired, although it is the Agents opinion that possibility may well exist should a purchaser wish to reapply for such a design once again. A further application was then submitted for the same design of property under planning reference 64826, and this was approved on 06/07/18 but was subsequently modified by a S.73 application, under reference 70549 for an alternative design of dwelling - namely a Huf- Haus.
Finally, the latest application was approved by North Devon District Council on 10th May 2021 under reference 73084, for an identical Huf-Haus property as approved by application ref. 64826.
