We absolutely loved living in our house on Bloy Street. Living at the heart of the warm and wonderful Easton community meant a lot to us; everything you might need is on your doorstep and we will miss the many friends we made. When renovating the property, we put a lot of effort into retaining its character and Victorian features creating a spacious, light and comfortable family home. Plus, we thoroughly enjoyed the views from our sun deck – the perfect spot for a gin and tonic whilst watching the sun go down. We also aimed to create a carbon neutral space by thermally insulating the roof, walls and floors and installing a green Air Source Heat Pump and solar photovoltaic system – meaning our monthly bills were kept to a bare minimum and even generated a little income (Feed In Tariff).
We are sorry to be leaving the house and really hope the new residents enjoy it as much as we did. We loved living in Easton !
