What will you miss most?
I shall miss the friendliness of the area. I always feel very much “at home” here and am glad to return if I have been away. The local facilities like the gym, the range of good shops and the restaurants and bars. I will miss being able to look out and watch birds and squirrels in the garden.
I like all of the house but my favourite rooms are the lounge looking through the patio doors to the garden, the formal dinning room when its set up for a special occasion and the kitchen which is retro styled but practical to work in.
We have had many happy times here, a special memory is having dinner in the garden last summer with friends who used the opportunity to announce their engagement and ask us to be a special part of their wedding celebrations. It has been an extremely happy and loved home and we will be very sorry to leave, however, I think a new owner will be delighted to move here and make the house their own.
A good variety of schools and colleges. Several supermarkets including Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose are all available in Oadby. There are medical centres, and fitness leisure facilities with a swimming pool within easy reach. Good transport links both public and private. Ideally placed for access to motorways. The rail station is 10 minutes drive away. There are beautifully maintained Botanic Gardens around the corner which can provide a pleasant respite from a busy lifestyle.
From Leicester City centre, proceed on London Road (A6) and turn left at Guilford Road and right into Barrington Road (this road turns into Knighton Rise). Take the third turning on the left into Sycamore Close and first left into St David's Crescent where the property can be found on the right hand.
