Description

Robertswood House is a truly impressive nine bedroom period property which has outstanding potential for a variety of uses to suit a buyer’s needs. The house is believed to have been built around 1880 and this fine Victorian property exudes grandeur having large rooms, high ceilings and period features including a magnificent entrance hall with mosaic tiled flooring, original staircase and ornate cornicing. The accommodation is set over four floors with further rooms in the basement offering great potential to develop further. There are en suite bathrooms to every bedroom. Externally there is a large gravelled parking area providing ample parking for several vehicles. There are gardens to the front, side and rear with a recently created ‘Spa Garden’ having sauna room, water feature and space for hot tub.

Description Continued

The property has been very well maintained with major refurbishment works also completed in recent years including re-plumbing throughout, replacement of the boiler and central heating system, new roof including timbers and weather boards, internal decoration and high quality carpeting and many bathrooms replaced and re-tiled.
The property is currently run as a single holiday let displaying impressive occupancy rates and annual turnover. Previously it was run as a successful Bed and Breakfast and prior to this a family home.
