Property description

44 Lower Street is a granite built detached home with three storeys and five bedrooms. It is not listed but does have great character with some exposed structural beams, trusses and woodwork. The cottage was formerly two homes but was amalgamated into a single cottage 50 years ago or more. The accommodation has great charm and is lucky enough to have many windows all of which are double glazed in some form which let in lots of lovely natural light and some of which afford views over the Teign valley. The accommodation comprises a large dining hall with a working fireplace, a sitting room with a former fireplace and a kitchen/breakfast room on the ground floor. On the first floor are two double and one single bedrooms, a bathroom and a w.C. And on the second floor there are two further bedrooms/studios and another bathroom with a small eaves workshop and store as well. The walled garden is delightful with a patio and raised pond with waterfall set into a well stocked rockery. Fowlers heartily recommend viewing this charming home.
