The Vendor's View

We were first attracted by the space this property offered when we looked at it 15 years ago. As a large family of six, we needed plenty of room, and as soon as we viewed the house we knew it would be perfect for us. Everybody started choosing bedrooms and we looked at each other and said “it looks like we’re buying this one then!”

The property is a real family home with a lovely atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you instantly feel safe. The front room is probably my favourite space, with its patio door out onto the garden. My grandson and I like to pull up two chairs next to the open door when it’s raining and watch the wildlife, which is plentiful here and there is always something different to see.

The back garden is split into two sections with a large lawn where we’ve had a 16 foot gazebo in one part, and the other where we have grown grapes, apples, plums along with a greenhouse and a shed, and it allows everyone to have their own growing patch.

The location is perfect, and there is nothing to dislike about it. We have lovely neighbours and everything is within easy reach. There are excellent schools from nursery to grammar all within walking distance, and the shops and train station are just a 3 minute walk from the front door. The high speed train takes you to London in 54 minutes and the M20 can be accessed in less than a minute.

We have so many happy memories of time here with our family. We will always remember the wonderful gatherings we have had, especially at Christmas time, where we have had a minimum of 14 people each year!
