The subject property is located within the town of Loughor which is approximately 8 miles to the north west of the city centre of Swansea and 5 miles to the east of the town of Llanelli, in South Wales.

St Michael’s Church is located on Station Road, close to the A484 and the Loughor bridge which is an arterial road linking Llanelli and Swansea.


Description


The subject property is a former Church building built circa 1885. The accommodation briefly comprises an entrance porch leading into the nave. Beyond this is the chancel which provides access through into the vestry. The fixtures have been removed internally with the exception of the organ.

Construction comprises solid stone with facing stonework, under a timber pitched roof clad with concrete tiles. The Church is not listed however it is within a conservation area due to its proximity to Loughor Castle (Scheduled Ancient Monument).

The Church is being sold freehold. The graveyard is not being included within the sale and is being retained with a pedestrian right of way to be granted to the purchaser, shown in green on the attached plan
