The site area extends to approximately 1.38 acres (0.56 hectares).

The Council will provide a cleared site prior to the development. The Council is willing to consider a variety of options to deliver development of the site with a general preference to generate a long term income from the site.

Services and Planning

Argyll and Bute Local Development Plan, adopted March 2015, indicated the site is located within an area allocated "Community Facilities and Recreation" and designed for the following "Swimming Pool, Community Leisure Facility, Open Space, Town Centre Parking and up to 2,700 sq m (29,000 sq ft) Class 1 Retail Use."
