The business itself

The current owner acquired the business through ourselves some 12 years ago and we are delighted to see how successfully they have run it since then. It is a testament to how well regarded, and in turn profitable, the business is that each owner has operated it for such a long period of time. It is now only coming onto the market due to the owners other work commitments and young family that they wish to focus more time on.

That said and of particular note is the fact that the current owner only comes to the business premises a couple of times a month to ensure that monthly accounts, invoices and wages are taken care of correctly as well as dealing with new enquires via email. Day to day the business is run by the very capable and competent staff team with all engineering and maintenance matters being outsourced, as is the payroll.

The client base is split approx. 30/70 between domestic and commercial clients with the latter being predominantly other local family businesses including wedding venues, guest houses and restaurants.

A stock of table linen is available to hire however a new owner may look to expand this into other areas such as bedding and similar. In addition little is done to advertise the business due to the repeat and recommended work that currently comes in, but again this gives good potential to further increase turnover with a targeted marketing campaign.

The business is operated out of an industrial unit in a commercial area of the busy and well known town of Leamington Spa.
