    Haslar Gunboat Yard & Marina is situated opposite the formal Royal Haslar Hospital site on the northern side of Haslar Road. Haslar Road travels north east towards Haslar Marina.

    Gosport Town Centre is approximately 1 mile away to the east, and Alverstoke, Lee-on-the-Solent and Fareham are situated a few miles to the west via the Haslar Road. The M27 is situated approximately 8 miles to the north and access is either via Newgate Lane or the A32.

    The M27 gives access westbound towards Southampton, approximately 23 miles, and the M3 heading northbound towards London. The M27 heads eastbound towards Portsmouth, approximately 15 miles, continues towards Havant and leads northbound up the A3 towards Guildford and London.
