Alison's experience of the Estate Agency world began in 2010 when she worked at a highly regarded agent in Newton Mearns. She then moved on to manage the Shawlands branch of the largest GSPC member firm. Having spent most of her life in Newton Mearns, Alison has a strong understanding of what East Renfrewshire and Glasgow Southside has to offer - local knowledge that provides real benefits to her clients. Alison's positive, friendly and approachable disposition is key in her ongoing success.

Alan joined Rettie & Co. in 2020 having worked as a Local Director for Slater Hogg and Howison for some 18 years in the South of Glasgow and is very familiar with this market. Previously he started his estate agency career with Your Move. With a wealth of experience within the industry and a genuine passion for property he looks forward to providing clients with excellent customer service from the Newton Mearns office and building on the growing position we have established in the area.

Grace has grown up in Newton Mearns attending both Mearns Primary School and Eastwood High School. She then went on to Strathclyde Business School, graduating in 2013 with a 2:1 Degree in Marketing and Finance. After University, with property as a passion, Grace decided to join one of the largest property companies in the UK for residential sales. With a great local knowledge of properties in the surrounding area Grace joined the Newton Mearns office in January 2018.

Zoe initially joined Rettie & Co. in 2017, having gained experience in Scottish and English property sales. Zoe took the opportunity to expand her property knowledge and experience, working for the past 12 months with a well known new build developer, before rejoining as a Sales Negotiator at our Newton Mearns office. Zoe graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone with a degree in Interior & Environmental Design. She also has a background in Theatre.

Lauren began her working life with 10 years of in the hospitality industry, during which time she worked as a pastry chef at the Fat Duck with Heston Blumenthal. She then went on to gain an Honours degree in Neuroscience at Glasgow University, before working in the finance industry, where she gained extensive experience in HR. She joined our Newton Mearns Office in 2017 as a Sales Consultant.

Susan joined our lettings team in October 2013 with 13 years’ experience in the Glasgow rental market. She is ARLA qualified and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as Portfolio Manager which involves all aspects of the management of her portfolio and is the main point of contact for her landlords and tenants. In 2018 Susan joined Newton Mearns team as a viewer, then Sales Consultant.

Jordan joined Rettie & Co., at the start of 2020 as a Viewing Consultant. Prior to this, Jordan, was studying to become a psychologist before finding his true passion in property. Born and raised in the southside of Glasgow, Jordan already had a good understanding of the property market in the southside which has helped him in his journey so far, he joins our Newton Mearns and Shawlands branches as Trainee Valuer.
