Description

This stunning house is newly built as an eco-home using contemporary technology. The gardens are laid out for easy maintenance and the planting reflects the pale green/grey colour of the exterior of the house and garage. The exterior is of 'Cape Cod' design with decorative bargeboards on the gables and weatherboarding. The many double glazed windows allow much light into the building. The house is surrounded by a deep verandah and balustrading to take best advantage of the views from the rear.
The interior of the house is decorated in shades of gooseberry and the carpets are neutral. All doors in the house are extra wide and many on the ground floor are glazed. The flooring throughout the house, with the exception of the bedrooms and bathrooms, is light oak. Many of the rooms are vaulted giving a feeling of space. There is a versatile and light lower ground floor which could provide a granny/au pair/guest/teenager suite. The heating is via a heat-exchange system which is very economical and eco-friendly to run.
