Situation and Locality

Talybont is a popular and residential village which has two pubs, Primary School and Shop with Post Office. It is within easy reach of a variety of good facilities at nearby Aberystwyth and is also within easy travelling distance of the beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline.

Penrhiw occupies a wonderful slightly elevated location and has an open south west facing
aspect. The cottage overlooks open fields, hedgerows and rolling hills beyond.

Directions

From Machynlleth travel southwards on the A487 for 12 miles to the village of Talybont. On entering the village take a left turning towards the Church. Proceed along this road for
approximately 300 yards and then veer to the left at a T-junction. Proceed along this road for a further 300 yards or so and the cottage will be seen on the left where there is another T-junction.

The Property

Over the last few years well planned refurbishment works have been carried out to this stone and slated cottage and this is in total sympathy with the original. Many features have been retained and internally exposed beams and well pointed stone work contribute greatly to the character and homely atmosphere of the cottage. Double glazed wooden windows have been introduced and central heating has been provided.

To the rear of the cottage there is off road parking, a detached cowshed building and productive pasture land extending to approximately 7 acres or thereabouts.
