Also known as Caldbec Mill, Kings Head Mill, The Old Mill, or Battle Windmill, Kings Mead Windmill is a restored smock mill erected during 1805 on a site formerly occupied by a post mill. The mill has an eight-blade fantail, a single storey brick base, a reefing gallery part way around it and black-painted staggered windows. The white-painted three storey octagonal timber smock was sheathed in zinc in 1894. The adjoining part of the property is of painted brick elevations and set under a tiled roof.
The disused mill was bought by Mr A.N. Neve in 1924 and the interior converted into a residence and linked to the adjacent property. Several of the original mill stones are located around the exterior of the building.

- A door leads through into the double garage which has been converted in part with sound proof walls, double glazing and is carpeted, thus providing a useful space for a workshop, gym or playroom.
- The adjacent utility room has a door to the rear courtyard, a stainless steel sink and has fitted units with space and plumbing for a washing machine, dryer and freezer.
