Llangammarch Wells is a village of under 500 people, ten miles west of Builth Wells at the confluence of the rivers Cammarch and Irfon. To the south of Llangammarch Wells is Mynydd Eppynt which rises to over 400 metres and is used by the Army for training. Llangammarch Wells is the smallest of the four spa towns in mid-Wales and it is centred around the parish church of St Cammarch.
