Goodwick is a coastal town in Pembrokeshire, at the end of the South Wales Mainline and adjacent to Fishguard. Directly above Goodwick harbour, which is called Fishguard Harbour, is a small estate known as Harbour Village, built in the early years of the 20th century to house harbour construction workers. Today, the harbour accommodates a ferry which regularly goes to Rosslare in Ireland, a catamaran that offers a faster service when the sea is calm, and the RNLI all-weather lifeboat. Goodwick is close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path that leads to Strumble Head lighthouse and, in the opposite direction, to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
