Menai Bridge is a small town situated on the banks of the Menai Staits on the Southern part of the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. Menai Bridge is accessed from the mainland by crossing the Menai Suspension Bridge (built by Thomas Telford in 1826) or the Britannia Bridge (built as a rail bridge by Robert Stephenson in 1850, the road deck was added in the mid 1970's). There is a mixture of property for sale in Menai Bridge, including modern developments of detached houses built with traditional materials, older properties with views of the suspension bridge and the coastline of the Menai Strait, bungalows, large detached properties with direct water frontage and double fronted Edwardian houses.

Families with children considering Menai Bridge property will discover the town has a secondary school – Ysgol David Hughes. It is the largest schools on Anglesey and one of the most successful in North Wales. There is also a primary school in the town. The School of Ocean Sciences from Bangor University occupy buildings close to the Strait. Nearby facilities include over a dozen golf courses within a half-hour's drive, sailing/fishing, and leisure complexes at Bangor, Llangefni and Beaumaris.

The nearest mainline station is in Bangor, approximately two miles from Menai Bridge town centre. There is a taxi rank at the station and a frequent bus service to Menai Bridge. By Road, Menai Bridge’s two bridges - The Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge - provide Anglesey’s physical links with the mainland via the A55 North Wales Coast Expressway.
