The historic walled border town and ancient port of Chepstow sits on the River Wye where it flows into the Severn Estuary, on the border between England and Wales. Chepstow has excellent road links with the M4 corridor on the doorstep, providing access east to Cardiff and Newport, and west to Bristol and London, as well as the M4/M5 interchange. By rail, direct services operate from Chepstow railway station to Gloucester and Cardiff, and to London via Newport, and Bristol via the Severn Tunnel Junction.
