Denny is a town of about 8,000 residents, 7 miles north-west of Falkirk and, until the early 1980s, it was a centre for heavy industry including iron foundries, brickworks, a coal mine and paper mills. Since the turn of the last century, several large estates of new-build townhouses have grown up around the centre of Denny, increasing the local population. Consequently, a new high school is planned, together with the development of a new shopping mall.
If you are looking for property for sale in Denny offering 2 or 3 bedrooms, there are charming, new build, terraced and semi-detached family houses, and a few 1-bedroom starter homes. Estate agents in Denny also represent houses offering four or more bedrooms including new-build, semi-detached houses with driveways; and larger, detached houses with integral garages. There are a few period houses for sale in more rural locations including working farms.
