The town of Warwick has a population of 25,000 and is located in the county of its namesake, Warwickshire, in England. The town is 11 miles away from Coventry and only 2.5 miles from the attractive town of Leamington Spa; in fact, population growth has led to Warwick becoming joined to Leamington Spa with which it forms a small conurbation. Unsurprisingly, many of its inhabitants live here and work in the two aforementioned towns, yet there is nothing stopping those looking for property for sale in Warwick from securing employment in the town itself. Warwick is famous for Warwick Castle, built in 1068, and the town itself boasts many pretty Tudor and 17th century buildings. Confusingly, the University of Warwick is not located in Warwick, but in Coventry. There are some excellent schools in Warwick; Warwick School is an independent secondary school for boys, and is the third-oldest surviving school in England. Other secondary schools in Warwick include Myton School and Aylesford school, both state run mixed-sex schools.
