Property for sale in Rugby

Rugby is a pretty market town in the county of Warwickshire, with a decent sized population of 63,000 people. The town is situated in the west of the county, on the River Avon, 13 miles from Coventry and near the borders of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. It is a popular commuter town for people working in nearby Coventry, yet there is much to be said of the town of Rugby, certainly enough to make you want to live and work here! The town centre is mostly Victorian in origin, with some development in the early 20th century, sprinkled with an array of old as well as some very young buildings. Rugby town centre has lots of restaurants, pubs and bars; the town centre is noted for its large number of pubs, and was for many years in the Guinness Book of Records for having the second highest number of pubs per square mile in England! The main shopping area in Rugby is the indoor shopping centre called The Clock Tower, as well as High Street and Sheep Street. A regular market is held in the town centre on most days of the week. With so much going on, it is little wonder so many people are looking for property for sale in Rugby.
