Halesworth is a market town in north-east Suffolk, steeped in the history of brewing and agriculture. Fifteen miles south-west of Lowestoft, Halesworth lies on the River Blyth, nine miles upstream from the seaside town of Southwold. Roman in origin, Halesworth has a wonderful mix of buildings from early timber-framed Tudor houses, through majestic Victorian architecture to sensitively designed new constructions such as Halesworth Library.

If you are looking for houses for sale in Halesworth and only require two or three bedrooms, you have a choice of Victorian terraced cottages, modern terraced houses, semi-detached bungalows, new-build detached houses, and charming cottages in delightful rural settings. Estate agents in Halesworth also represent family-sized houses with four or five bedrooms and integral garages; gracious Victorian and Edwardian classic red-brick houses; converted farm buildings; and a few substantial detached houses set within mature gardens, occasionally Grade II listed.
