Brandon is a market town in west Suffolk on the Norfolk border and is steeped in ancient history and period buildings. It has its own 2,500-acre country park but it is also adjacent to Thetford Forest, home to hares, rabbits, and deer, and a wonderful resource for walkers, riders and naturalists. Within the forest is Grimes Graves, a large Neolithic flint mining complex which was worked from 3000 BC until 1900 BC when the use of bronze tools replaced flint.
Houses for sale in Brandon are a mixture of styles and periods and include two-bedroom bungalows and terraced cottages; three-bedroom post-war terraced and semi-detached houses, and new-build developments; four-bedroom modern townhouses, bungalows, and detached houses with integral garage; and a variety of modern and period houses in rural settings, including farmhouse conversions and Grade II listed properties.
