Property, Houses and Flats for Sale in Cannock, Staffordshire

Neighbouring areas

Cannock is south of Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lying east of Junction 12 of the M6 and north of Toll 7 on the M6 Toll. Cnoc in Celtic means ‘hill’ and Cannock was a very small town until the arrival of coalmining in the 19th century. Cannock grew rapidly as many industries came to the area because of its proximity to the Black Country. Following World War II, Cannock continued to expand as new houses were built to accommodate people working in local industries or wished to commute to Stafford, Walsall, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Houses for sale in Cannock were predominantly built in the 20th century reflecting the styles and tastes of the pre-war and post-war eras, but there are also new developments including two-bedroom terraced and semi-detached townhouses, four-bedroom family-sized houses with integral garages, and some impressive executive-style houses in more prestigious areas.
