Skegness is situated on the northern side of the Wash, just one hour’s drive from the historic city of Lincoln and close to the beautiful countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds. In 1936 Billy Butlin opened his first holiday company in Skegness, which is what many people associate the town with. Local estate agents in Skegness say the terrain of the town is level and ideal for people who have difficulty with mobility. Much thought has been given to provide disabled access to all amenities and accordingly, Skegness is popular with retirees. There must be very few residential locations in the UK that can provide a gentler quality of life, a fine clean environment, and an excellent place to live than that of Skegness. With a choice of the bustle of the town, or the solitude of the countryside, the possibilities are limitless. Some of the most sought after properties for sale in Skegness are located on Gibraltar Road, close to the nature reserve and a popular golf course.
