Horncastle is a small market town to the south of the Lincolnshire Wolds, where the River Bain meets the River Waring. Voted Antique Town of the Year, Horncastle is packed with antique and secondhand book shops, located in wonderful old houses dating back many hundreds of years. The great annual horsefair ‘Horncastle for Horses’ first took place in the 13th century and was the largest fair of its kind. The last fair was in 1948 but the beautiful countryside surrounding Horncastle is still very popular with riders.

If you are looking for property for sale in Horncastle there are Grade II listed cottages, terraced and detached; converted farmhouses and period mansions, in areas of outstanding natural beauty; and modern family houses often commanding spectacular views. For details of any flats for sale in Horncastle, and for all cottages and houses currently on the market, please contact Horncastle estate agents.
