Ashford is a modern, thriving town with easy access to London, Maidstone and Folkestone, and is surrounded by attractive countryside in the region that is nicknamed the garden of England. For shopping, there are three centres to choose from, as well as pedestrian areas called Bank Street and High Street. In 2005 Ashford topped the polls as one of the best places to live in England,, with its high employment rates and low crime levels.

Ashford Properties

Ashford is, as aforementioned, one of the most rapidly developing towns in the country. 800 new homes are being built each year to accommodate the incoming population who are looking to enjoy a high quality of life with city amenities in a rural setting. Ashford properties mainly consist of new, or at least post war housing; and while not much of old Ashford is left, period properties can be found.
