Watford is Hertfordshire's largest town, situated in the south of the county between the M25 and M1 motorways with good communication links to the surrounding areas. Watford is close to strategic roads - the M25 motorway that rings London and the M1 motorway, connecting London to the Midlands and Northern England. The town is served by one of the principal north-south rail routes, connecting to London's Euston station (in just 20 minutes). Watford is connected to the underground rail network on the Metropolitan line, and also has a comprehensive bus network linking all parts of the town, as well as providing routes in and out of central London.
