Kings Langley is on the southern edge of the Chiltern Hills, two miles south of Hemel Hempstead and two miles north of Watford. It's a peaceful village, surrounded by the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside but with excellent road and rail links. Formerly the site of a 14th century royal palace, Kings Langley was also the home of the makers of Ovaltine. The imposing factory facade is now all that is left and is part of a new housing development.
