The Essex coastal town of Frinton-on-Sea is considered to be an exclusive and upmarket seaside resort, famous for its railway crossing and the divide between living inside the railway gates and outside the gates (a true Frintonian is widely held by the local community to be one who lives within the sea-facing side of the railway gates).
