Property, Houses and Flats for Sale in Pevensey, East Sussex

Pevensey is an old fishing village, originally founded in the 1600's as "Wallsend". The village is located just two miles to the east of Eastbourne, on the English Channel coastline. In the early 1900's the village became the holiday resort it is today, with much of the coastline development having started in the 1930s. Today it is a popular tourist attraction, famous for Pevensey Castle and a number of Martello Towers, which were built between 1805 and 1812 to resist a potential invasion by Napoleon. Two of Pevensey's five towers have been converted into houses. Other types of property for sale in Pevensey include bungalows, brand new houses, grade II listed properties and Victorian terraced houses.
