Heathfield is a small attractive market town surrounded by beautiful, rolling Sussex countryside, with magnificent vistas. It is the principal town in the civil parish of Heathfield and Waldron, in the Wealden District of East Sussex. The Parish covers an area of approximately 125 square miles, and includes the town of Heathfield, the village of Waldron, Cross-in-Hand, Broad Oak, Old Heathfield and part of Punnetts Town. Heathfield is situated near the junction of two main roads: the A267 between Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne, and the A265 from Hawkhurst. The village of Heathfield holds an annual fair, called the Heffle Cuckoo Fair, every April.
