Hastings is a very attractive and lively town of 80,000 people in the county of East Sussex. The town is well known for the Battle of Hastings in 1066, and is also a well-loved seaside destination. Hastings is a great arts centre and has long been popular with painters and artists looking for solace and beautiful light to work by.
