Wimborne Minster, known locally as Wimborne, is a delightful market town lying in the picturesque water meadows of the rivers Stour and Allen, five miles north of Poole. Wimborne has one of the finest collections of 15th, 16th and 17th century buildings in Dorset. The best examples include Wimborne Minster, the Town Hall, the Priest's House Museum and numerous shop and pub facades that give Wimborne such character.
