Swanage is set in an area of great natural beauty and retains much of the charm of its Victorian heritage. By road Swanage is accessible via the A351 Poole-Swanage road. The nearest mainline station is in Wareham, where an hourly service operates into London Waterloo in a journey time of approximately two hours.
