Sandhurst is a small town with 22,000 inhabitants, located in the south-eastern corner of the County of Berkshire, and home to the Royal Military Academy. The arrival of the railway in 1849 led to a great expansion of the local population and to the construction of many houses, schools, pubs and churches. From the late 1950s to the 1980s, large housing estates were built, merging the original four villages of College Town, Sandhurst, Little Sandhurst and Owlsmoor into the Sandhurst of today.

Located within the beautiful Berkshire countryside but close to important transport links, houses for sale in Sandhurst start with one-bedroom properties that are either terraced or semi-detached. Prices for these houses begin at £170,000. For under £200,000 it is possible to find similar houses on the market but offering as many as three bedrooms. Larger family houses with drive, garage, and four bedrooms, are on the market with Sandhurst estate agents from £285,000. For £320,000 and above there are spacious family houses, with good-sized gardens often situated in more secluded locations. There is a good choice of flats for sale in Sandhurst in both purpose-built and conversion properties, from £130,000 for one bedroom and an average price of £180,000 for two bedrooms.
