The results are in – find out which property bloggers have been crowned the winners in this year’s Primelocation.com Property Blog Awards.
Back in December we launched the very first Primelocation.com Blog Awards, to celebrate the writing and recognise the talent of the very best property bloggers around.
And now, nominations in, votes counted, and hours of hard deliberation done, it is time to announce the winners. The competition was tough and the prizes well deserved, so congratulations to those who came out on top, and well done, too, to everyone who made the shortlists.

A Little Drop of Cognac
It was a closely fought battle, but A Little Drop of Cognac’s Graham Downie has emerged victorious with the top prize. The judges were won over by his refreshing and entertaining mix of property market musings and insights into his life in France, alongside some great images and interesting guest posts.

Agent’s Diary: Cut and run - Friday

Agent’s Diary: Love Actually - Wednesday
The mutterings of malcontent from this undercover agent make for very compelling reading. This post scooped the prize because of its topical content and clever turn of phrase.

The House Historian
Chesterton Humbert’s in-house historian Melanie Backe-Hansen is one clever lady. Her blog ran away with the Best Newcomer crown, thanks to its unique and original content (Melanie spends her time digging up the past of houses and streets – and then shares her findings on her beautifully presented blog).

Renter Girl
Over 5,000 votes were cast, and 35 per cent of them went to Renter Girl - the feisty blogger championing tenants everywhere - making her your favourite property blogger of 2009.
