This lovely 1 bedroom Casita (little house) sleeps 3-5 people and is situated at the head of a valley in the Sierra de las Estancias with breathtaking views and just 5 kilometres from Oria.The Casita also boasts a new log fire and radiators, which keeps it lovely and snug in the winter months.
The Casita consists of:-
Bedroom – 1 double bed, 1 single bed, Wardrobe, bedside cabinets, Chest drawers. There is also use of a travel cot if needed.
Shower Room (En-suite) – Shower, Basin, Toilet, Bidet.
Lounge – Sofa bed (sleeps 2), Tv with Freeview SkyTv, DVD, Internet connection, CD Player.
Kitchen/Diner – Gas cooker, Sink, Fridge freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave combi,and all utensils.
Outside Area: -
Swimming pool - Lots of area to sunbathe and relax with stunning views of the mountains, this is a shared pool with the Cortijo, which is next door to the casita and is owned by the landlord. There is also a shaded area by the pool where you can dine ‘al fresco’ and relax.
Oria is a lovely small town approx 5 minutes drive from the Casita and has all the local amenities you would need for your day to day living: - Bank, Doctor, Chemist, primary school, post office and 2 mini markets. It also has a few bars, which serve local Spanish tapas and ‘Menu de dia’. On Sunday there is a small market in the plaza where you can buy good local produce.
As you would expect in Spain, Oria has its fair share of fiestas and these are held during the summer months.
The nearest larger town from the Casita is Albox and is approx 15 minutes drive; there you will find a large supermarket, various shops, bars and restaurants. There are also 2 secondary schools and 3 primary schools.
There are many coastal resorts within a short drive including Mojacar, San Juan and the very Spanish town of Garrucha which has the best fish restaurants. The closest airport is Almeria, about an hours drive away. Murcia and Alicante are both just over 1.5 and 2 hours away respectively.

This property would suit a couple or family who want to get away from it all and relax, yet still be able to enjoy all the local amenities the village provides.
Pets – Sorry no pets.
Children – Babies in arms and children from 5+ are welcome, however this property would not suit toddlers, due to steps leading down to the lounge and kitchen area, aswell as the pool area not being fenced off.
