The town of Albox is approx a 5-minute drive or 15 minutes walk that has everything you would need for your day to day living including a supermarket, many bars, restaurants, and shops. On Tuesdays there is a large market in the town where you can buy almost anything.
There are many coastal resorts within a short drive including Mojacar, Vera that has a large water park, San Juan and the very Spanish town of Garrucha which has the best fish restaurants. The closest airport is Almeria, about an hours drive away. Murcia and Alicante are both just over 1.5 and 2 hours away respectively.
