This is a very spacious 2-bedroom, fully furnished ground floor apartment in the beautiful village of Cantoria.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a townhouse. It has a shared main entrance, however, once inside, the apartment has its own entrance and consists of: -
Two double bedrooms
Lounge Bathroom Kitchen Utility room Two large storage rooms
Presently, there is no Internet or telephone in the apartment, however, the landlord has agreed that these can be put in at the tenants expense. This would be very easy to do as the upper floor apartment already has these services.
Cantoria Village is very typical of this part of Spain with its narrow roads and lovely plaza to enjoy a quite time or meet up with friends to enjoy a chat.
Like many of the villages Cantoria enjoys its fair share of fiestas in the summer with music and good local food.
Every week there is a market where you can buy local produce. There are also several small supermarkets and a few bars and restaurants, so you will never go hungry.
Also within the village there are 2 schools (1 primary and 1 secondary) all within walking distance. There is also a communal swimming pool, which is open in the summer months.
Cantoria is approx 10 minutes drive to the larger town of Albox where you will find a large supermarket, various shops, bars and restaurants. There are also 2 secondary schools and 3 primary schools.
There are many coastal resorts within a short drive including Mojacar, San Juan and the very Spanish town of Garrucha which has the best fish restaurants.
The closest airport is Almeria, about an hours drive away. Murcia and Alicante are both just over 1.5 and 2 hours away respectively.
